Voice Notes: AI Summary is a voice notes app that helps users record, transcribe, organize, and summarize notes using AI.

1. Information We Collect

Voice Notes: AI Summary is designed to store most user content locally on the user's device.

The app may handle voice recordings, speech-to-text transcripts, notes, note content, images attached to notes, reminder information, app settings, and AI summary requests when the user chooses to generate an AI summary.

2. Local Storage

Notes, transcripts, attached images, reminders, and app settings are stored locally on the user's device. We do not automatically upload the user's notes, recordings, or images to our server.

Users can delete notes from inside the app at any time.

3. Microphone and Speech Recognition

The app requests microphone permission to allow users to record voice notes and convert speech to text.

Speech recognition may use the speech recognition service available on the user's device, such as Android speech recognition services. The availability and behavior of speech recognition may depend on the user's device, language, and system settings.

4. AI Summary Feature

The AI Summary feature is optional.

When the user taps the AI summary button, the app sends the text content of the selected note to our backend server in order to generate a suggested title, summary, key points, and action items.

The app does not send the original audio recording to the AI summary service.

AI summary requests are transmitted securely using HTTPS.

The AI summary service may use third-party AI providers to process the text and return the result. The returned summary is saved locally inside the note.

5. Images and Camera

The app may request camera or photo library permissions if the user chooses to attach an image to a note.

Images selected or captured by the user are stored locally on the device as part of the note.

6. Notifications and Reminders

The app may request notification permission to send reminders selected by the user.

Reminder data is used only to schedule notifications for the user's notes.

7. Locked Notes and Device Authentication

The app may allow users to lock individual notes using the device's authentication system, such as fingerprint, face unlock, pattern, PIN, or password.

The app does not collect, store, or access biometric data, fingerprints, face data, PINs, passwords, or device unlock patterns. Authentication is handled by the device operating system.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data.

We do not share user notes, recordings, or images for advertising purposes.

When the user chooses to use the AI Summary feature, the text of the selected note may be processed by our backend server and third-party AI service providers only for the purpose of generating the requested AI summary.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data transmitted to our backend server, including HTTPS for AI summary requests.

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Users are responsible for protecting access to their own device.

10. Data Deletion

Users can delete notes inside the app.

Because most data is stored locally on the user's device, deleting the app or clearing app data may remove locally stored notes and settings.

11. Children's Privacy

Voice Notes: AI Summary is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
